Slow Zuda progress…

Wow, just noticed we’re 6 days into July and I haven’t posted anything… Since posting that “Ghost Rider’ job, I had to make some changes to the art… The customer mentioned the details that they were adamant about after the job was inked and colored…. After that I’ve been working on the Zuda thing while thinking about a job I’m doing for a friend of mine that involves the Four Horsemen….

I did finish pencilling all 8 Zuda pages/screens (yesterday, I think) and have started inking the first page/screen. I think I ended up with close to 80 panels…. Maybe I overcomplicate things, but I feel everything in there is necessary to tell the story that I want to tell. I’m also drawing at a larger size since I wanted to get ‘more detail’ into the art, which is a mistake. I think I could probably save myself headaches if I drew with fewer lines, but I just can’t help myself. Why own a rapidiograph and not make use of it? Hopefully the editors at Zuda won’t hit the delete button too quickly.

That’s all I have for now. Debating whether or not to post any art when I finish, until the Zuda people give it the once-over….
