MODOK!
Here’s another ODPESTA (Old Drawing Posted Elsewhere Some Time Ago), this time of MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only for Kabuki)…
MODOK is a great character, what with his oversized noggin’ and the flying high chair and all. This is the only time I’ve ever drawn him. I usually struggle with characters that I haven’t drawn before, but he seems to be a Mental Organism of my own heart and was very easy to draw. The Smiley Face isn’t part of his normal wardrobe. There have been some really weird and outright BAD stories that involved MODOK. The ruining of the Abomination, MODOK’s mate (shudder), his sad death at the hands of the Serpent Squad/Society…. He has managed to build up enough of a cult following to have his own fan site. Those guys are warped.
